Playboy TV to telecast rowdy poker games

Sam Simon, a television producer, says that he had heard that private poker games are so entertaining that they should be on TV.

Simon is putting that concept to the test Thursday night on Playboy TV with ‘Sam’s Game.’

Some of the players in ‘Sam’s Game’ will be World Series of Poker bracelet winner and actor Jennifer Tilly, Norm MacDonald, Artie Lange and Brande Roderick, former Playmate of the Year and contestant on ‘Celebrity Apprentice.’ Some poker champs will also play in the games.

According to Simon, the Texas Hold 'Em games may not always be stellar, but they will be funny, and that's comedy of the raw sort, along with unfiltered language to match.

"Sam's Game" was filmed at The Palms casino and resort in Las Vegas.
